NYSERDA's latest Energy Efficient Appliance Rebates went fast!
Something like buying Stones tickets in the 80's or an iPhone in the 00's.
Last Monday, March 19th, $3.5 million in federal funds became available to New York residents for the purchase of high-efficiency ENERGY STAR refrigerators and clothes washers. This funding is being provided by the U.S. Department of Energy's State Energy Program and has been administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
As of Wednesday the 23rd the NYSERDA site was updated to say that all the funding was spoken for. NYSERDA offers that any new applications will be kept on a waiting list in case some already submitted applications are rejected due to lack of documentation.
