clouds_300The Green Movement has always been driven by grassroots energy.

People communicating directly, sharing ideas, practical experience and synergistically evolving communities toward sustainability.

One of our greatest new tools is the Internet. Small solar energy inventors and air powered car manufacturers can message on par with commercial giants.  Non profits can spread the word for free and new ideas can be sent from one continent to the next.

Two bills right now before Congress (PIPA) Protect IP Act in the Senate and the (SOPA) Stop Online Piracy Act before the House would censor our use of the Web and impose regulations about what can be placed here or repeated here. In a time when sharing ideas is critical and we have no time to reinvent the wheel these freedoms are logrythmically important to safegaurd.

Voting will start on January 24th

Wikipedia is held a black out yesterday to raise awareness about the urgent need for action. Many other protests are in motion, like New York City's protest in front of senator's offices.  Some of the bills' sponsors are already backing away, keep our voice strong.
