Thank you for being a part of ____________. We are developing a local social media page on Green Guru Network to direct people to your events, speakers and vendors. Please help us help keep your message in public focus by creating a profile on GGN and joining "__________________” group.
Here’s how to reach thousands of people in Westchester and the Hudson Valley interested in what’s green and sustainable.
Register:
1. Go to Green Guru Network's (GGN) “Become a Member” page and fill in the registration pages:
For "Name" please use your event name if you are creating an event profile. Please use your business name, the name of your organization or government entity or your name if you are a participant in an event.
For "About Me" give a brief (100 words) description. (There will be room for more detail inside your profile.)
Fill out the other pretty straight forward information fields to create your profile.
3. Check your email. You will get an email from Green Guru Network. Click the activation link in the email.
Your account is activated, and you can click on “Member login” in the upper right hand corner of the window. Enter your username and password.
Congratulations you are logged in as a Green Guru Network member.
Part 2
Join the “___________________” group:
1. Go to “_____________________” group
2. You’ll get a notice that your group is a private group, click the “Join Group” button on the left, just above “Group information.” Check your email over the next few daytime hours.
3. You’ll get an acceptance email from GGN, just click the link and sign in with your username and password.
4. Return to the _________________ page introduce yourself on the wall and friend fellow “_______________” group members.
Bring your team members on board!
Cut and Paste the content of this email and send it to all speakers, sponsors, collaborators, volunteers, vendors and performers involved in your event. Direct them to your event's profile.

After the event your profile serves as a free web page to direct your audience back to you. You can upload photos, power points, link to video, and continue or start conversation.
