Energy Audits: ACT NOW!

Last chance for municipalities to get a low cost energy audit, $100 to $400 per building dependent upon the number of employees per building, for buildings with an average electric demand under 100kW.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Energy Audit Program will no longer be available to municipalities effective December 15, 2011.

Beginning January 1, 2012, municipalities may participate in the NYSERDA FlexTech program to obtain energy audit services, which requires a 50/50 cost share.

If you want assistance setting up an energy audit before December 15, 2011 please contact me immediately and we can work with our local NYSERDA contact to complete the online CFA application.  Municipal applications for the Energy Audit Program must be completed and submitted by December 15th to be eligible.
