Move swiftly and your company can take advantage of New York Energy Smart Program incentives for effective, energy-efficient lighting projects performed by participants in the Commercial Lighting Program. NYSERDA is looking to "encourage promotion, design, and implementation of effective, energy-efficient lighting in commercial buildings or spaces." Apply if you are a lighting contractor, distributor, designer, architect, engineer, energy services company (“ESCO"), interior designer, manufacturer representative, or other lighting decision maker. What are they actually offering? Training, technical assistance, design tools, publicity, Quarterly competition awards, cash incentives for Design and or installation of lighting equipment, employees who complete certification exams, web promotion and marketing materials.
 

callecuba_ggnThe Wallcoverings Association announced its new Sustainability Standard for wallcovering products. The standard, known as NSF/ANSI 342, was developed in response to recognized importance of environmentally sound practices.
