Last Thursday, December 8, 2011, Eastchester’s Environmental Committee presented the 2nd Annual Eastchester Green Medallion Awards. This year's recipients are Polpettina Restaurant, Anne Hutchinson School’s Dave O’Neil and Eastchester Boy Scout Troop #353.   Assemblywoman Amy Paulin’s office bestowed official citations on each of the recipients.

On Saturday, July 23 over 300 cars came to City Hall in Beacon within 4 hours to drop off broken electronics for recycling. The massive turnout was unpredicted.
