Consider the Tappan Bridge Park. 3 miles of beautiful structure that already exists, could increase property values on both sides of the bridge, create viable bike commuting options, and a world class tourisim destination. Like the Highline and the Hudson Walk yet bigger and better.

Join our campaign to save the old Tappan Zee Bridge from demolition so it can be transformed into a three-mile linear park across the Hudson.
After investing $1.8 billion over 15 years to repair the bridge, state officials want to tear it down once the new one goes up. But we want a serious study of its use as a world-class destination for cyclists and pedestrians.

Especially thinking about the unknown bicyclist I pass most monings in the dark on the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge. He has 3 flashing lights attached to his back and bike. He is only vaugely recognizable as a moving object before 16oz. of dairy free, agave sweetened dark French Roast low fat hot chocolate.
