Event Details

You can expect plenty of visual punch and timely wit as the Hudson Valley's premier eco-logic theater traces life's quintessential liquid from mountain top to city tap. It’ll be fun for the entire family when Arm-of-the-Sea Mask and Puppet Theater comes to the Ashokan Watershed and presents, “City that Drinks the Mountain Sky” on Saturday, July 14 at the Shandaken Playhouse located at 10 Church Street in Phoenicia, NY. Show time is at 1:00pm. The performance is approximately one hour long. Free admission!

Through a shimmering tapestry of poetry, puppetry and evocative music, “City that Drinks the Mountain Sky”, brings alive the lyrical landscape of the Catskills-- to portray the on-going story of the watershed and the uneasy marriage of those who must protect its vulnerable flowing treasure.
