Guardian Industries (USGBC National Member) is the world's largest producer of low-E, energy efficient coated glass. While we are a global company, we have strong local roots with our Geneva, NY location. Guardian glass can be found in LEED certified houses, schools, hospitals, and skyscrapers all over New York State - and the world!    

Guardian Geneva is excited to host NY Upstate USGBC chapter members and AIA members for a tour of the Guardian Geneva Float Plant. On this tour you will learn what materials are used in glass making, how the float process produces over 700 tons of glass per day, the tempering process, and, finally, how we produce low-E energy efficient coated glass. We are proud of the quality of our products and how our glass is used in LEED projects.  We would like to share this with you in a safe, fun learning environment. Help us keep you safe by wearing long pants and by not wearing open-toed shoes or tank tops. Thank you and we look forward to hosting you!

Directions: 

Take New York State Thruway to Geneva Exit 42.  Turn right onto Route NY-14 South. Continue 4.5 miles on NY-14 South and turn left on Forge Ave. At stop sign, turn left (this is still Forge Ave). Guardian Industries will be on your left.
