I am creating a Wind Turbine Technology program for Sullivan County Community College in NY. Upon completion of the program our students with have earned a two year Associates Degree in Wind Turbine Technology. Amazing culinary day. Stopped by The Blue Pig in Croton on Hudson for my 3 new favorite flavors of ice cream; Local Peach, Garden Mint Chip (gently not jarringly mint), and Drum roll please.....Honey Lavender. IHonorable mention to the Maple Walnut and Deep Chocolate. Then on to Hilltop Hanover Farm where they have the most amazing yellow peach and deep green tomatoes. All local all wonderful

A self-guided day-long tour to Rondout Valley Grower farms where participants will meet farmers, see their fields, and be treated to samples of food prepared by local chefs made with local ingredients. Tour goers also receive recipes and coupons as take-homes and there will be a closing reception with prizes, raffles and more food at the Norwegian Wood Farm.
Advance tickets are $15 per person & $25/family. Day of tickets will be $20/person & $30/family. Children under 6 are free! Members receive $5 discount off the ticket price.

Today in Marrakech I walked and drove mikes and saw only 1 garbage can. For he most part the streets were relatively clean (considering the volume of traffic!)

- From Greenpeace volunteer in 1978, to her current position as Managing Director of Green Guru Network and Sustainability Coordinator for Westchester County, Lea has been an avid proponent of sustainable issues for over 25 years.
